# 4‑Piece Grynder – Premium Herb Grinder with Kief Catcher

## Overview: Why Choose a 4‑Piece Grinder?
The 4‑Piece Grynder is Stache’s signature premium herb grinder designed for connoisseurs who want a smooth, flavorful grind and the ability to collect potent kief. Measuring 63 mm in diameter, it includes a grind chamber, a stainless‑steel pollen screen, a spacious kief catcher, and a magnetic lid. This four‑piece setup allows you to grind herb, sift out trichomes, and save them for later without any mess.

## Micro‑Rounded Teeth vs. Traditional Sharp Teeth
Rather than using sharp diamond teeth that shred herb and tear delicate trichomes, the Grynder uses patented micro‑rounded teeth. These domed teeth gently separate buds along their natural seams, preserving terpenes and cannabinoids. The result is a fluffier, more aromatic grind with minimal plant matter stuck to the teeth. Less force is required to twist the grinder, and the threads stay smooth over time.

* **Preserves terpenes and cannabinoids** for richer flavor.
* **Produces a fluffy, even grind** without metal‑on‑metal scraping.
* **Requires less twisting force**, reducing wear on the grinder.

## How the Pollen Screen & Kief Catcher Work
The precision stainless‑steel screen sits below the herb chamber. As ground herb falls through, fine trichomes (kief) sift through the screen into the bottom chamber. Stache’s screen spacing is engineered to let only the smallest, most potent particles through while keeping ground herb above. Rounded interior edges funnel kief downward, preventing it from sticking in corners. Over time, you’ll accumulate a collection of potent pollen that you can sprinkle onto bowls or press into hash.

## Materials & Design
Machined from anodized 6063 aluminum, the 4‑Piece Grynder is built to last. The anodized finish resists scratches and corrosion, while smooth threading ensures easy assembly. Rounded edges inside the chamber prevent herb from clinging to corners, and the magnetic lid keeps the grinder securely closed. Limited‑edition colorways and laser‑etched designs make it a standout piece in any collection.

## FAQs
**Q: What’s the benefit of a 4‑piece grinder over a 3‑piece?**
A 4‑piece grinder adds a pollen screen and kief catcher so you can collect trichomes separately. A 3‑piece keeps everything together but doesn’t separate kief.

**Q: How often should I clean my grinder?**
For best performance, clean it every 1‑2 months. Use isopropyl alcohol and a brush to remove sticky resin. Avoid boiling water and harsh cleaners.

**Q: Is the screen replaceable?**
Yes, replacement screens and accessories are available in our Accessories section. Simply unscrew the middle section and swap the screen.

**Q: Does it come with a scraper?**
Yes. Each Grynder includes a kief scraper to collect every bit of pollen.

Upgrade your ritual with the 4‑Piece Grynder and experience smoother twists, richer flavor, and the satisfaction of saving kief for later.

The Stache Grynder is made to be the last metal herb grinder you will ever need. The Grynder is rich with innovative changes made with the average consumer in mind. Dry herbs today tend to be richer in terpenes and denser in structure, much different from a century ago when the first herb grinders were popularized. Old designs cause friction and buildup of various plant materials, leading to a loss in quality of the dry herb before it can be consumed. The Stache Grynder is designed to mitigate all of these issues with its innovative design that features:

  • Micro rounded-teeth
  • Beveled Edges
  • 6063 Aviation anodized aluminum
  • Pollen Shovel and Brus

Stache put our micro rounded teeth Grynder to the test against other style grinders on the market. The results ended with Stache Grynder preserving the most terpenes and thc post grind. Keep the good stuff on your bud, not stuck in your grinder.

Most metal herb grinders today have sharp teeth that are rigid and are made to “shred” dry herbs into a material that can be easily manipulated and smoked or vaped. This stems from the original designs that were made to cut through stems and fully grind dry herbs into a consistency that allowed for rolling and packing. This is no longer necessary for a majority of dry herbs available today! The Grynder’s small, rounded teeth are designed to separate and grind fluffy and sometimes sticky dry herbs into a usable material, all without stripping any of the quality from the dry herb.

Most metal herb grinders are designed with flat edges in the interior, allowing for buildup of plant matter in corners, leading to grinders getting stuck. Not only does it make using the grinder more difficult, it is stealing the quality of your dry herb as terpenes and other compounds are gathered in the edges rather than sticking to the ground material. The Stache Grynder has rounded edges all-throughout the interior. This means that the already reduced amount of stripped plant material and beneficial compounds are naturally funneling into the bottom chamber! There are no right-angles for dry herb to collect.

The 4-Piece Grynder model hosts an ash-tray/ground herb storage as many have come to use it. Rather than a re-sealable storage compartment, there is the same amount of space in an open-topped basin.

The 4-piece model has a pollen screen that is common for many 4-piece dry herb grinders on the market. Though there is reduced pollen being stripped from the dry herb thanks to the Grynder’s innovative design, the small percentage that is still affected can be easily collected into the pollen chamber thanks to the beveled edges and pollen screen.
